This starter came off of a 1986 30hp Johnson. You will receive the exact starter and bracket that is pictured. The starter has been hooked to a 12 V battery and tested and does work perfectly. This starter bracket will fit many years starting from 1986 all the way up to the mid to late 90s. Please make sure that your outward calls for the same part numbers. Box67 G
